Artist and Sculptor

The Journey of Stone and Space

My artistic journey begins without a preconceived vision, embracing the transformative exercise of bending and marking stones. This practice transcends mere craftsmanship, becoming a meditative state where the stones serve as haptic bridges of joy. These bridges link me physically and mentally to their ancient mysteries and my innermost thoughts, while inviting the observer to share in this sensory connection.

My Artistic Goal is to

create small, intimate spaces within the rock, showcasing both positive and negative aspects of its inherent beauty.

"My work is inherently haptic, designed to be experienced through touch.

allowing the observer to form a personal connection with each piece"

The Sculptures

Balance is paramount.

The orientation of each piece within physical space is irrelevant. Trained in the dimensionality of sculpture, I approach each stone with respect for its material integrity and the boundaries inherent within.

I am acutely aware of the stones' long histories, formed over millions of years, and I deeply appreciate the time, energy, and mineral elements they embody.
